Heating Systems in Egypt: Underfloor, Radiators & Boilers
We design, supply and install complete central heating systems for villas, apartments and compounds across Egypt — underfloor heating, radiators, skirting-board heating and fireplaces, engineered around a room-by-room heat loss calculation rather than a rule of thumb.
Read the in-depth guideWhat we install
Every property is different, so we size and specify each system to the building rather than fitting one product everywhere. These are the options we work with:
Underfloor heating: The most comfortable and efficient option. Pipes embedded in the screed turn the whole floor into a low-temperature radiant surface — even warmth, no visible equipment, and the ideal partner for a heat pump. Best installed during construction or renovation.
Radiators: Fast to respond, lower installation cost, and fitted into a finished home without lifting floors. Available as steel panels, aluminium sections and heated towel rails for bathrooms.
Skirting-board heating (ThermaSkirt): The emitter is concealed inside the skirting around the room perimeter, freeing every wall while responding faster than underfloor heating.
Designer radiators (CosyStone): Ultra-flat panels in natural stone and marble finishes, for interiors where the heating must not look like heating equipment.
Fireplaces: Premium European gas and wood fireplaces from Barbas Bellfires — genuine heat output alongside the atmosphere.
How we decide what your property needs
The specification follows the survey, not the other way round. What we assess:
- Room-by-room heat loss — glazing area and type, external walls, orientation, ceiling height and insulation, not floor area alone
- Whether floors are open or finished, which usually decides underfloor versus radiators
- How each room is used, since consistently occupied spaces and occasional rooms suit different emitters
- Available heat source — mains gas, LPG or electricity — and whether a heat pump is viable
- Whether the same plant should also serve domestic hot water and pool heating
- Your budget across installation and running cost, not installation alone
Most villas end up with a combination: underfloor heating in the living areas, radiators or towel rails in bathrooms and guest rooms. A contractor who proposes the same solution for every room has not surveyed the property.
Gas boiler or heat pump?
A gas boiler gives high output, fast recovery and a lower initial cost, and can serve heating, hot water and pool from one plant. A heat pump moves heat rather than generating it, returning several times the electricity it consumes — the most efficient option available, and a natural match for underfloor heating because both work best at low water temperature. It costs more upfront and repays over time. We install both, and we will tell you which suits your property rather than which we would prefer to sell.

Sizing by watts per square metre is the most common reason a system either never warms the house or costs more than it should. Two rooms of identical area can lose very different amounts of heat — a corner bedroom with large glazing is a different problem from an internal room the same size. We calculate every project room by room, and you can run the same calculation yourself before you talk to anyone.
Open Space Heating CalculatorRunning cost and comfort
Three things decide your heating bill: the efficiency of the heat source, how well the building holds heat, and how the system is operated. Insulation matters most because it reduces the load itself. Zoning matters next — heating only occupied areas. We design in zone control as standard so you are not paying to heat empty rooms, and we specify around the flow temperature your emitters actually need rather than running the system hotter than necessary all winter.
Installation and support
Every project starts with a site survey and a documented load calculation. We handle design, supply, installation and commissioning, and we verify system pressure, balancing and controls at handover rather than assuming them. Our technical and management team brings over 25 years of experience, and we support what we install with periodic maintenance — a heating system is a relationship measured in years, not a one-off delivery.

Space Heating

Underfloor Heating
The most comfortable and efficient way to heat your home — delivering even warmth from the floor up, completely invisible, and compatible with all floor finishes.

Wall Radiators
A classic, reliable heating solution with modern aluminium designs for fast, effective warmth that heats and cools quickly in response to your thermostat.

Thermaskirt
Imagine a home without radiators. ThermaSkirt is an innovative heating system hidden inside the skirting boards, freeing up every wall and delivering true radiant heat in minutes.

CosyStone Radiators
Ultra-flat designer radiators in natural stone finishes — only 6.2cm thick. They integrate seamlessly into any interior, available in marble, stone, and custom colour options.

Fireplaces
Premium European gas and wood fireplaces bringing cosy ambiance and effective heating to any room. The Barbas Bellfires collection combines Dutch engineering with contemporary design.
Frequently asked questions
Do I really need central heating in Egypt?
For a villa or compound home used year-round, most owners find winter evenings genuinely cold for several months. The economics improve considerably when the same system also covers hot water and pool heating.
Can it be installed in a finished home?
Yes. Radiators and skirting-board systems retrofit without lifting floors. Underfloor heating is best installed during construction or a renovation.
Underfloor heating or radiators?
Underfloor for even comfort and lower running cost in spaces used consistently, and where floors are open. Radiators where fast response matters or floors cannot be disturbed. Combining both is common and sensible.
How long does installation take?
It depends on the property size and whether it is new build or retrofit. We give a programme with the quotation, after the survey — not before it.
Do you provide maintenance?
Yes. We offer periodic maintenance, and we recommend an annual service before the heating season to protect both efficiency and equipment life.
