Atlantic Heat Pumps and Water Heaters in Egypt
Groupe Atlantic has engineered French thermal comfort since 1968. Heatec is an Atlantic technical partner and authorized distributor in Egypt, under the heating solutions partnership agreement signed in August 2026 with Alarabia Group for Project Services, Atlantic's exclusive agent in Egypt — bringing the Alfea heat pumps, Calypso hot-water range and Atlantic electric radiators to Egyptian villas and projects with genuine warranty and installation by our own engineering team.
What the partnership actually means for you
Egypt's heating market is full of grey imports — equipment brought in outside the manufacturer's channel, with no warranty that anyone will honour and no spare parts when a control board fails in year three. A manufacturer partnership is the difference between a machine and a machine somebody stands behind.
- Genuine Atlantic equipment through the manufacturer's own channel in Egypt, not parallel imports.
- Manufacturer warranty that is registered and honoured locally, not a shop receipt.
- Spare parts and control boards available in Egypt rather than on a three-month lead time.
- Installation and commissioning by Heatec's own engineering team, not a subcontracted crew.
- Technical training and factory support behind the sizing we give you in writing.
The Atlantic range Heatec supplies
Atlantic builds across the whole comfort envelope. These are the ranges that make sense for Egyptian villas, apartments and projects.
Alfea air-to-water heat pumps
Whole-home central heating from a single outdoor unit. Alfea Excellia A.I. runs from 11 to 16 kW and Alfea Extensa A.I. reaches a COP of up to 4.5, with Cozytouch smart control. This is the machine that replaces a gas boiler where no gas line exists — and in most Egyptian compounds, no gas line exists.
Calypso heat-pump water heaters
Hot water at roughly a third of the electricity of a conventional heater. Calypso VM comes in 100 and 150 litre tanks with R290 natural refrigerant (GWP 0.02), energy class A+, and operation as quiet as 37 dB(A). Calypso Access and Calypso Split Inverter cover installations where the tank and the unit need to sit apart.
Electric radiators
Oniris, Accessio, Agilia and Furno Connect smart radiators from 300 to 2,000 W, with intelligent scheduling and open-window detection. The practical answer for a room or two where running a full hydronic circuit cannot be justified.
Electric water heaters
Zeneo, Steatite, O'Pro and Vertigo ranges from 30 to 300 litres, with ACI hybrid anti-corrosion protection — the feature that matters most in Egyptian water, where tank failure is almost always corrosion rather than a fault in the element.

Published specifications
The figures below are the ones Atlantic publishes. Output on a heat pump always varies with ambient temperature, so the number that matters for a January design is the winter capacity, not the catalogue rating point.
| Range | Capacity | Published performance |
|---|---|---|
| Alfea Excellia A.I. | 11 – 16 kW | Air-to-water, R410A, Cozytouch control |
| Alfea Extensa A.I. | Residential | COP up to 4.5 |
| Calypso VM | 100 / 150 L | R290 (GWP 0.02), class A+, 37 dB(A) |
| Electric radiators | 300 – 2,000 W | Smart scheduling, open-window detection |
| Electric water heaters | 30 – 300 L | ACI hybrid anti-corrosion |
Atlantic publishes performance at standard rating conditions. Heatec sizes every installation on a calculated heat loss for the actual building and the actual winter design temperature — which is why our written offer states the capacity at your conditions, not the brochure number.
Where Atlantic is the right answer
We will tell you when it is not. Atlantic competes on engineering and warranty rather than on price, so it earns its place in some situations and not others.
- Compounds with no natural gas connection — a heat pump is the only efficient central heating available.
- Villas where the owner wants one manufacturer behind both the space heating and the hot water.
- Apartments needing quiet, individually controlled room heating without a hydronic circuit.
- Replacing an ageing electric water heater where the running cost has become the complaint.
- Projects where the specifier requires a European manufacturer with a documented local channel.
Why buy Atlantic from Heatec
- Manufacturer partnership signed in Egypt — genuine equipment and a warranty that is actually registered.
- Every system sized on a calculated heat loss before anything is quoted, not on a rule of thumb.
- A written technical offer with the manufacturer's datasheet attached, so you can check our arithmetic.
- Installation by Heatec's own engineering team, under our written twenty-year pipework warranty.
- After-sales handled by the same company that installed the system, with genuine Atlantic spare parts.
Common questions
Is Heatec an authorized Atlantic distributor in Egypt?
Yes. Heatec is an Atlantic technical partner and authorized distributor, under the heating solutions partnership agreement signed in August 2026 with Alarabia Group for Project Services, Atlantic's exclusive agent in Egypt.
Does the Atlantic warranty apply in Egypt?
Yes, on equipment supplied through the manufacturer's channel and installed by an approved installer. That is the practical reason to avoid grey imports: an identical-looking machine bought outside the channel carries no warranty anybody in Egypt will honour.
Which Atlantic heat pump suits an Egyptian villa?
For whole-home heating, Alfea Excellia A.I. from 11 to 16 kW covers most villas — but the correct model depends on a calculated heat loss for your building, not on floor area. For hot water only, Calypso VM 150 L suits a typical family.
How much does an Atlantic heat pump save against an electric water heater?
A heat-pump water heater uses roughly one third of the electricity of a conventional resistance heater for the same hot water, because it moves heat rather than generating it. The exact saving depends on your daily volume and tariff — our calculator gives the figure for your own numbers.
Are Atlantic spare parts available in Egypt?
Yes. Parts come through the same authorized channel as the equipment, which is what keeps a control board a one-week matter rather than a three-month import.
Does Heatec install Atlantic, or only supply it?
Both. Heatec designs, supplies, installs, commissions and maintains the system with its own engineering team — the same team that issues the written technical offer.
